Summer in the mountains feels healthy and soul refreshing! I'm out hiking, playing tennis and hitting some rounds of golf with friends. I enjoy my friends and family for laughs, nature and fun.

It's hard to stay fresh, creative and energized when there's just the grind. The work will always be there. But, to play the long game, I have to reset. I have learned a lot about my rhythms and protecting my emotional, mental and spiritual health. I would say that over time, creativity is what moves the needle, more than productivity.

I hope you can get away to zoom out and take a look at your direction and aim. It's not only good for your health, but your contribution.

If you get up to Breckenridge, let me know and we can hang out.

Strategies and Tools

  • Total cost of ownership. A way to calculate and think about renting, owning or leasing. With the squeeze in the economy, might be worth thinking about some bigger ticket items and lowering cost burdens.
  • Lavender email coach. Using AI to analyze your emails to drive responses. Integrate this into your outbound efforts to get results. Another apt use case for AI.
  • Writing on LinkedIn for B2B. The advice for businesses to write what you are learning and serve your customers on this platform is strategic: "They would be sharing what they are learning from customers as they are building - this could be quick write-ups after customer calls, learnings from pain points, content about the life/job of the person they are trying to sell to." I have rebooted my own writing on LinkedIn based on the insights.
  • Build a Rich Life. It's my free download that has how-to's and a wealth of strategies. Grab it and incorporate some life changing hacks for yourself and your family.
  • Medical cost sharing. I have used Sedera for years and the choice for medical care with reimbursements has been stellar. Powerful for small business owners that would like a cost effective benefit for themselves and their employees.
  • Unreasonable Hospitality: The Remarkable Power of Giving People More Than They Expect. The stories in this book can spur your thinking of creating world class experiences and connections with your customers.

“It's so simple, yet makes such a difference. Pretend that every single person you meet has a sign around his or her neck that says, 'Make me feel important.'” — Mary Kay Ash
